Let’s talk about how important your website speed is to your business and readers.
About 40% of people abandon a website that takes more than 3 seconds to load.
Google has stated before that 53% of mobile users abandon sites that take over 3 seconds to load.
so, website speed is super important for you!
How fast your readers can access your website determines if you get that traffic to your website or not!

I was struggling with my website speed so a long time.
I literally tried everything there is to speed up my website and some plugins even seemed to make my website speed worse than it was.
It went to the point that I was pretty desperate.
Checking out my website speed from google speed insights for example can give you the big picture.
I use my other website here as an example because I don’t want to take down my plugging from my main website, but the situation was even worse with my main website.
Mobile scored only 22/100 and desktop 69/100.
It took 8.3 seconds to load the website on mobile and 1.8 seconds on desktop.
Nowadays the majority of people use their phones and as we concluded earlier that most people do not wait longer than 3 seconds.
These numbers were costing me readers and traffic!
I was losing customers!
I started to think, maybe I should hire a website developer or even pay for a faster website.
But then I came across this plugin nitropack!
And decided to give it a go and try for the last time if it would be the solution I was looking for.
And to my big surprise, it was!
I mean there are many videos that promise you these awesome results with your website speed and then you try them just to find out, it didn’t work for you.
But I’m telling you guys, this really works and made so big difference with how fast my website loads.

SETTINGS
I will mention that the free plan does place a nitropack badge in the footer of your website, but I think this is fair.
my prices are seen in Korean Won because I am in Korea right now.
So don’t mind about that.
Next, go on and push the start for free button.
Go on and fill up the info there.
Then you are in your dashboard.
you can add multiple websites to one dashboard, this makes it very easy to manage all your websites from one place.
All the websites have their own plan and are paid separately, but you can have all the websites in one account.
This means all of the websites can have free plans, or some can be free, some can be paid at different levels.
I mean one website can be 1 million pageviews a month, one website can be on the free plan and the third could be 50,000 pageviews a month.
When you get more visitors to your blog and I assume, you are going to want to make some money with your blog, then it is definitely worth it to pay a little less than 20 dollars for a faster website.
not a bad deal at all!
Go ahead to the left top corner of your nitropack dashboard and click add new website button
Fill up the details about your website and click proceed.
Then we are going to your WordPress dashboard.
Go to the plugins and add new.
Search for nitropack plugin.
Click Install now and then activate.
Then go to your plugins and search the nitropack plugin and click settings.
Click that connect to nitropack and choose the website you want to connect with.
It will automatically connect with your nitropack account.
If you have trouble with this, you can go to your nitropack dashboard and choose the second option from the top.
Connect your website.
There you will find info to manually connect your website to your nitropack account.
On your WordPress dashboard, you have a choice to choose between different optimization modes.
The best choice for you would be to choose ludicrous.
This means that nitropack does all the job for you automatically.
But I would advice you to start from standard and test each mode if your website still works fine and is not broken.
You can choose ludicrous and go to see your website, if there is a problem, try strong next and go and check if the problem went away.
Choose the mode, that suits you the best.
Then we choose from setting cache warm up and turn on also HTML Compression.
Next, navigate to your nitropack dashboard.
And choose from the top settings.
I would keep this setting on, other settings I would not touch.
Down there is a choice to optimize ads.
But if you use or plan to use mediavine or adthrive, I would keep the option off because the plugin can intervene with those advanced ad programs.
Then you are ready to navigate on your nitropack dashboard to the first option on the top dashboard.
There you click optimize or purge cache, I don’t remember anymore which option comes the first time you install the setting.
Click that option and wait for the plugin to optimize your whole website.
Optimization takes some time.
When the optimization is done, you can go back to the google speed insights and check how the speed has changed.
The mobile score improved from 22 to 78, which is a significant improvement, it still could be better.
But without you having to go deeper into speed issues, this could be enough for you.
The desktop speed improved from 69 to 92, which is really good!
I am satisfied with the desktop score!
